Sourdough Sandwich Bread

In this recipe we will make a delicious sandwich bread made with sourdough. It has just the right crunchy outside and soft inside. Perfect for a nice sandwich or even as dough for an authentic homemade pizza.

Mix sourdough, water and flour together in a bowl |

Knead for 10 minutes |

Make 4 equal sized balls by forming with your hands against the table. |

Put a little olive oil on top and leave to rest in room temperature for a couple of hours. |

After a couple of hours preheat the oven to 220°C. |

Now the dough balls should have raised a lot and be easy to form. Form the bread how you like your sandwich. Put some olive oil and salt on top of the bread. |

Now bake the bread for 12 minutes at 220°C then turn the oven down to 150°C and bake for 2 minutes. |

Leave them to rest for at least 10 minutes before serving. |
